easy and safe to Gent Jazz Festival? With De Lijn de festival is always easy to reach for everybody, because since 8 December 2007, the offer of tram and bus rides in Gent has been extended. During week days, there are more rides and in the evening busses ride on average 2 hours longer as before. In combination with night buses, De Lijn even offers a 24/24 service. The second and last weekend of Gent Jazz Festival is at the same time of the Gent Festivities. Then De Lijn will offer more rides, so you cannot miss De Lijn! Visitors of other cities can use the parking lot at Flanders Expo. With tram line 1, you can get to a point where the festival is accessible on foot, this is the Charles De Kerckhovelaan-stop. The festival goers can easily enjoy and share their experiences and easily reach their car. Below you can find a summary of the last returning rides from tram line 1 during the festival (leaving at Charles De Kerckhovelaan-stop):
We also advise people of the neighbourhood to leave the car at home because every regional line will offer services for 2 hours longer than before. You can find more information about the offer of De Lijn in Ghent on www.nietmeertemissen.be. You can download the particular Gentse Feesten brochure of De Lijn here. |
