Take De Lijn , because it cannot be missed anymore! -%- De Lijn and the Gent Jazz Festival have reached an agreement specifying that an entry ticket for the festival will allow free transport on De Lijn buses in Ghent on the same day. With De Lijn de festival is always easy to reach for everybody, because since 8 December 2007, the offer of tram and bus rides in Gent has been extended. During week days, there are more rides and in the evening busses ride on average 2 hours longer as before. In combination with night buses, De Lijn even offers a 24/24 service. The second and last weekend of Gent Jazz Festival is at the same time of the Gent Festivities. Then De Lijn will offer more rides, so you cannot miss De Lijn! Visitors of other cities can use the parking lot at Flanders Expo. With tram line 1, you can get to a point where the festival is accessible on foot, this is the Charles De Kerckhovelaan-stop. The festival goers can easily enjoy and share their experiences and easily reach their car. The first part of the festival, from 7 to July 11, there is a combination of unnumbered seats and standing places. The second part of the festival, from July 15 to July 18, there are only standing places. People with disabilities can take place in the VIP stand during the concert, for wheelchair users separate stage is provided. Those who come by car can have access the VIP parking but only on presentation of a disabled parking identification card. Assistance dogs are welcome. Adequate sanitary facilities for disabled people are provided. |
